Media & collaborations
Come and tell the story properly.
A café built around loneliness and kindness turns out to be a story people want to tell. If you're a journalist, a podcaster, a filmmaker or a brand looking for a partner, we'd like to hear from you.

Amrin is happy to be interviewed.
She came to Canada from India in 2011 as an international student, received a deportation letter the day before her birthday, and years later signed the lease for this café on that same date. She now runs BC's first Humanity Café as a for-profit social enterprise.
She'll talk about loneliness honestly, about immigrating alone, about building a business as a solo female founder, and about why a café is a better answer to isolation than another app. She'd rather have a real conversation than deliver talking points.
What we're open to
Ways we can work together.
Interviews & press
Newspapers, magazines, radio, TV, student journalism. Amrin is available in person at the café or remotely, and we're comfortable with cameras in the room during opening hours.
Podcasts
As a guest on yours, or recording in ours — the café is quiet in the mornings and we can give you a corner and good light. Bring your own kit.
Filming & photography
The space works as a location: warm light, a long shared table, café fittings, and a look that isn't a chain. Available for shoots, and for a full buyout outside opening hours if you need the room clear.
Brand & business collaborations
Local roasters, makers, small businesses, and anyone whose product belongs on a shelf in a café like this. We prefer partners with something real behind them.
Community organisations & non-profits
If your work touches loneliness, newcomers, mental health, seniors or youth, there's likely something we can build together. We host, we cook, we make room.
Speaking & panels
On social enterprise, immigration, loneliness, or starting something on your own. Amrin has done this before and doesn't need a script.
Content creators
Filming in the café is fine. Tag us, be kind to other guests, and tell us you're coming so we can give you a decent table.
Full venue buyout
The entire café to yourselves, outside regular hours, for a shoot, a launch, or a private event. Ask and we'll work out the details.

Humanity begins with You & Me.
That line isn't marketing. It's the smallest unit the whole idea works at.
